Use coated end mills for demanding high-speed jobs and longer production runs in hard materials. They are more wear resistant than uncoated end mills, which means they last longer when operating at similar speeds.

This end mill is mainly used for rough machining of die blanks, plane finishing and side finishing, and is suitable for machining materials with higher hardness. Commonly used round nose knives have a fillet radius of 0.2 to 6. Round nose knives should be preferred in processing.
